#BookTour for Charmeine by Emily Guido

Please help me welcome Author Emily Guido to the site today and give her some love on her book tour for CHARMEINE!

Emily has a tour wide Giveaway set up, use the Rafflecopter at the bottom to enter. I’m going to leave this open for the duration of her tour. You can enter here, on my website for a chance to win a copy of her e-book and a signed bookmark. All you have to do is leave an answer to the following random question:

Miss Ohio in “Miss Congeniality” (remember that movie?) said that she once stole a pair of red underpants from the store and her mother called them “The devil’s panties.” You’ve been given a mission: You must go into a Wal-Mart and steal a pair of underwear. What kind do you steal, and how do you smuggle them out of the store?

(I know, I know. I always do covers big. But it’s pretty! 🙂  )

Title: Charmeine

Author: Emily Guido

Series: The Light-Bearer Series

Genre(s): Paranormal Romance>Angels and Vampires

Published: 2012

Format: Ebook

Book Synopsis: Can romance develop between a heavenly Light-Bearer and a hellish vampire Blood-Hunter?

Tabbruis is a Blood-Hunter, he drinks blood to survive. Over millennia Tabbruis has wondered the Earth alone aimlessly living through many historical events.

Charmeine just came to the Earth in 1997. Little did she know her destiny was to be Queen of all the Light-Bearers?

When Tabbruis meets Charmeine the attraction is immediate and passionate. They are polar opposites and clash together in a strongly romantic and dramatic way. When she meets Tabbruis, Charmeine’s powers as a Light-Bearer, one who throws lightning, is triggered and grows exponentially.

Charmeine and Tabbruis soon find out they were made by God for each other; however, on the day God cast Lucifer out of Heaven, they were split up by some mistake. Charmeine sacrificed herself to save her Tabbruis but they were sent to Earth as total opposites and in different times. Tabbruis never remembered Heaven, Charmeine or their child. Until he met Charmeine, he did not know he was the King of Darkness and destined to be her Husband on Earth as he was in Heaven.

Once Tabbruis and Charmeine proclaim their love for one another, they have to battle their way to freedom from the evil forces on Earth.

Before Charmeine knew it, she felt fingers on her chin rousing her from her sunbathing induced sleep with a sweet voice saying, “Honey, it is time for dinner.”  She looked up, and it was Tabbruis standing above her.

Charmeine said, “Oh!”  She shot up saying, “I slept the whole afternoon away?”

Tabbruis chuckled and said, “Yes, it looks like you did and…”

Charmeine said interrupting him, “OUCH!”

Tabbruis started laughing in earnest now, “And you got a little sunburnt!”

Charmeine went into the bathroom looking and howled, “A little sun-burnt?  I look like a frigging cherry!”  She was trying to touch her skin, “It’s November 4th how in the heck did I get this burnt?  Ugh!  Darn-it!  What about practice?  I can’t go like this?  I can’t even put on clothes.”

Tabbruis was in the bathroom with her in an instant leaning into the door with a big smile on his face like the cat that ate the canary, “Only one thing to do to help that…”

Seductively Charmeine smiled, “Oh…. You are such a bad boy.”

Tabbruis, with a glint of hope in his dark green eyes, said, “Yes, but you like bad boys.”

Charmeine said with her hand caressing his face, “Correction, I only love one bad boy.”

With desire rimming his deep green eyes in black, eagerly and haltingly Tabbruis said, “Do…. you want to bite…. my neck?  Or… do you want to bite… my wrist?”

Charmeine said seductively running her hands down his chest, “I have something else in mind… but we don’t have time for that.  So…I guess… your neck!”

About the Author:

Emily Guido is a new Paranormal Romance Author. She was inspired to start writing “Charmeine” because one day she got an idea of two characters that needed to have their story told. Not ever dreaming a week later she would have over a 100,000 words written. When Emily writes, it is similar to you or I watching a movie. She pictures the characters in her head going through vivid descriptions of each scene. There are so many nuances going through her mind that she cannot type fast enough.

Emily is currently editing the second novel, in “The Light-Bearer Series,” Ransom, soon to be published in May 2012. She is currently working at a College full time, and pursuing her Master of Business Administration.

      Thank you Savaannah,

I am so happy that so many people like it! Being an inexperienced author and just starting out is kind of hard. But people who are established and good-natured have taken a chance on me! I am very touched. Since I am new, “Charmeine” is sort of like a child to me… you never forget it when you hold your baby for the first time! That is the way I feel about “Charmeine”! It is not a horror story but a very ROMANTIC Love story…. with blood-hunters and light-bearers thrown in for a little spice. But Romeo and Juliet have new companions in the star-crossed department with Tabbruis and Charmeine! I have finished the Second Novel… “Ransom” and it is powerpacked awesome… My third book in the series is “Conundrum” and I just started on it! The forth will be the final one and will ROCK! Thanks and have a wonderful weekend!

      Sincerely, Emily

Congratulations on your book release. I love stories that play with opposites, its a great natural source of tension and you are using it well. Angels and Vampires are a great hook. Good luck with your tour.
