Sex and Toast (With Peanut Butter!)

 

That got your attention didn’t it? :D

Okay, so the first thing I want to do is tell you a little story. This weekend the Tiny Divas went to their grandma’s house. So, me, being the smart woman that I am, took advantage of this. My plan was to have some sex, do some cleaning, get some homework done, write my ass off, and do my best to see Cabin in the Woods. (I’m a fool for Joss Whedon, mmmkay? And to those of you who have seen the movie there’s only one thing I can say to you: HUSBAND BULGE. *laughing like a 13 year old boy*)

I got to have the awesome sex, and I did write – which is great, I’ve got about 6K words done on Lucky Sevens, I sent a round of edits back to my awesome partner in crime, Dana Horbach, to make LOVE KINECTION totally amazing, saw the movie, had a date, no cleaning though. Some laundry.

I woke up on Sunday morning and checked my email. I’m seriously developing an addiction to technology and it needs to stop. But I digress. Where was I? Oh, yeah. E-mail. I see in my inbox: Submissions~Decadent Publishing_Marked (The Edge). And it’s got a paper clip.

OOOOhhhhh… we all know what paper clip means, right? Attachment. ATTACHMENT!

So, I’m very pleased to announce that MARKED has been contracted with Decadent Publishing’s The Edge line!  WOOT!  Here’s the blurb:

    LOL. Yay sex, but even more yay for Marked! I’ve had the privilege of reading it, and it’s definitely a hot one! I look forward to the final product :D

    And yes…Kari and I laughed like 2 twelve year olds during the movie at the “Husband Bulge” too…and she’s also tasked me with writing it into a book at some point. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! *giggle*

      We were so lucky there was only one other person in our theater. Between my inability to sit still during the Avengers trailer, and our clapping and giggles during the movie, we might as well have been back in high school… :D
