It seems like Russell Brunson is everywhere these days. He has written articles for many magazines, he’s been on TV numerous times, and has been invited into more think tanks and discussion groups to discuss his ideas. But have you noticed that he’s also been giving out free advice about leadership and events and individuals and what works? I recently did a search for Russell Brunson quotations and came up with many videos and articles and then compiled them into this small collection of the best.
“A lot has been said recently about leadership. What’s up now, this is Russell Brunson yet again. Still in beautiful Puerto Rico enjoying some of the best marketers, thought leaders, and personal development gurus on the planet. My goal is simple, to help you become your own best leader, irrespective of whether you are old or young.”
“If you aren’t doing anything, stop doing nothing. Do not go chasing every limelight available, do not sit around waiting for somebody else to do something, do it yourself. There are a lot of ideas out there it is not possible to take the time to learn them. Find one, learn it, and go out and live it. When I left college, I said I wanted to be an entrepreneur. Today, that dream has become reality.”
“The difference between failure and success is the amount of work you put in. Most people seem to expect that the longer they do, the better they’ll be. The issue is that most people never discover how to do enough to make it successful, and if they try, they will fail.”
“What is the worst that can happen? You make a mistake, and you pay the purchase price, but it is nothing compared to what could happen if you succeed. Have you ever noticed that few men and women who seem to live the life they’re supposed to live always seem to fail in one way or another? That is because most of them never took the time to learn what they didn’t know.”
“The only way to get to leadership is to accept the fact that you don’t have all the answers, and then start to find them out. If you are unwilling to change, that’s the sign of a person who doesn’t want to lead.” “The first step to leadership is having the ability to see where you are not going and fixing that.” “A great leader doesn’t just bark out orders; he listens to what his people are telling him and utilizes that information to come up with new ideas.”
“A fantastic leader understands that leaders get great results by acting decisively, by demonstrating creativity, and by inspiring confidence. Leaders do not act based on rumors; they rely on solid facts. They plan ahead. They think before they act. They take responsibility.
“A good leader knows that no one likes a do-it-yourself; everybody wants some help along the way. They recognize that it is not enough to just know the right thing to do; they must have the ability to carry it out.” “The best leaders are not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes are an essential part of learning, but errors should not stop you before you can get back on your feet.”
“A business has a better chance of success if its goods or services are exceptional, well priced, and broadly available.” “Your clients will trust your judgment and take your advice seriously when you are careful about their interests and their needs.” “You do not have to be perfect to be great in company; the more things you are willing to risk, the greater your odds for success.” “To be truly great at what you do, you will need to have a passion for it, and it should be a reflection of who you are.”
This book discusses various leadership styles. It lists the characteristics of each style, including: modesty, sway, honor, assertiveness, and esteem. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has ever considered becoming a leader, and especially someone who has a background in business or management. This book gives a clear picture of exactly how critical leadership is, and how to develop leadership skills. Russell Brunson is a leader who achieved enormous success as both an executive and a coach.
He’s written a very interesting and thought provoking read that everyone should read. If you are looking for an excellent introduction to the topic, with solid information and effective leadership strategies, this is it. Highly recommended.
