It seems like Russell Brunson is everywhere nowadays. He has written articles for several magazines, he has been on TV numerous times, and has been invited into more think tanks and discussion groups to go over his ideas. But have you noticed that he’s been giving away free advice about events and leadership and individuals and what works? I recently did a search for Russell Brunson quotations and came up with many articles and videos and then compiled them into this small list of the best.
“A lot has been said lately about leadership. What’s up now, this is Russell Brunson yet again. Still in beautiful Puerto Rico enjoying some of the best marketers, thought leaders, and personal development gurus on the planet. My objective is simple, to help you become your own best boss, regardless of whether you’re young or old.”
“If you aren’t doing anything, stop doing nothing. Don’t go chasing every limelight available, do not sit around waiting for somebody else to do something, do it yourself. There are a lot of ideas out there it is not possible to take the time to learn them. Find one, learn it, and go out and live it. When I left school, I said I wanted to become an entrepreneur. Today, that dream is now reality.”
“The difference between success and failure is the amount of work you put in. Most individuals appear to expect that the longer they do, the better they’ll be. The issue is that most people never find out the way to do enough to make it successful, and if they try, they’ll fail.”
“What is the worst that can happen? You make a mistake, and you pay the price, but it’s nothing compared to what might happen if you succeed. Maybe you have noticed that few men and women who appear to live the life that they’re supposed to live always seem to fail in one way or another? That is because most of them never took the time to learn what they did not know.”
“The only way to get to leadership is to accept the fact that you don’t have all of the answers, and then start to find them out. If you are unwilling to change, that is the sign of a person who doesn’t want to lead.” “The first step to leadership is being able to see where you’re not going and fixing that.” “A great leader does not just bark out orders; he listens to what his people are telling him and utilizes that information to come up with new ideas.”
“A good leader realizes that leaders get great results by acting decisively, by demonstrating creativity, and by inspiring confidence. Leaders don’t act based on rumors; they rely on solid facts. They plan ahead. They think before they act. They take responsibility.
“A great leader knows that no one likes a do-it-yourself; everybody wants some help along the way. They recognize that it’s not enough to just know the right thing to do; they must be able to take it out.” “The best leaders aren’t afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes are a crucial part of learning, but errors should not stop you before you can get back on your feet.”
“A company has a better chance of success if its products or services are unique, well priced, and widely available.” “Your customers will trust your judgment and take your advice seriously when you are cautious about their interests and their needs.” “You don’t have to be perfect to be great in business; the more things you are willing to risk, the higher your chances for success.” “To be truly great at what you do, you will need to have a passion for this, and it should be an expression of who you are.”
This book discusses various leadership styles. It lists the features of each style, including: modesty, influence, honor, assertiveness, and esteem. I highly recommend this book to anybody who has ever considered becoming a leader, and especially someone that has a background in business or management. This book gives a very clear picture of exactly how critical leadership is, and how to develop leadership skills. Russell Brunson is a leader who achieved tremendous success as both an executive and a coach.
He has written an extremely interesting and thought provoking read that everyone should read. If you are looking for an excellent introduction to the subject, with good info and effective leadership approaches, this is it. Highly recommended.
