It feels like Russell Brunson is everywhere these days. He’s written articles for many magazines, he has been on TV numerous times, and has been invited into more think tanks and discussion groups to discuss his ideas. But have you noticed that he has been giving out free advice about events and leadership and individuals and what works? I recently did a search for Russell Brunson quotes and came up with many articles and videos and then compiled them into this little collection of the best.
“A lot has been said lately about leadership. What’s up today, this is Russell Brunson yet again. Still in beautiful Puerto Rico enjoying some of the best marketers, thought leaders, and personal development gurus in the world. My goal is simple, to help you become your own best leader, regardless of whether you are young or old.”
“If you aren’t doing anything, stop doing nothing. Do not go chasing every limelight available, don’t sit around waiting for somebody else to do something, do it yourself. There are a lot of ideas out there it’s impossible to take the time to learn them. Find one, learn it, and go out and live it. When I left college, I said I wanted to become an entrepreneur. Today, that dream has become reality.”
“The difference between success and failure is the amount of work you put in. Most people appear to expect that the longer they do, the better they’ll be. The problem is that most people never find out how to do enough to make it effective, and if they try, they will fail.”
“What’s the worst that can happen? You make a mistake, and you pay the price, but it’s nothing compared to what could happen if you succeed. Maybe you have noticed that few people who appear to live the life that they’re supposed to live always appear to fail in one way or another? That’s because most of them never took the time to learn what they did not know.”
“The only way to get to leadership is to accept the fact that you don’t have all of the answers, and then begin to find them out. If you are reluctant to change, that’s the sign of someone who doesn’t need to lead.” “The first step to leadership is having the ability to see where you’re not going and fixing that.” “A great leader doesn’t just bark out orders; he also listens to what his people are telling him and uses that information to develop new ideas.”
“A good leader understands that leaders get great results by acting decisively, by demonstrating creativity, and by inspiring confidence. Leaders don’t act based on rumors; they rely on solid facts. They plan ahead. They think before they act. They take responsibility.
“A great leader knows that no one likes a do-it-yourself; everybody wants some assistance along the way. They recognize that it is not enough to just know the right thing to do; they have to be able to take it out.” “The best leaders aren’t afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes are a crucial part of learning, but mistakes should not stop you before you can get back on your feet.”
“A company has a better chance of success if its goods or services are unique, well priced, and broadly available.” “Your customers will trust your judgment and take your advice seriously when you’re careful about their interests and their needs.” “You do not have to be perfect to be great in business; the more things you are willing to risk, the higher your odds for success.” “To be truly great at what you do, you need to have a passion for it, and it should be an expression of who you are.”
This book discusses various leadership styles. It lists the features of each style, which include: modesty, sway, honor, assertiveness, and respect. I strongly recommend this book to anybody who has ever considered becoming a leader, and especially someone that has a background in business or management. This book gives a very clear picture of exactly how critical leadership is, and how to develop leadership skills. Russell Brunson is a leader who achieved enormous success as both an executive and a trainer.
He’s written a very interesting and thought provoking read that everyone should read. If you are looking for an excellent introduction to the topic, with good info and effective leadership approaches, this is it. Highly suggested.
