It seems like Russell Brunson is everywhere these days. He has written articles for many magazines, he’s been on TV numerous times, and has been invited to think tanks and discussion groups to discuss his ideas. But have you noticed that he’s also been giving out free advice about leadership and events and individuals and what works? I recently did a search for Russell Brunson quotes and came up with many articles and videos and then compiled them into this little list of the best.
“A lot has been said recently about direction. What’s up now, this is Russell Brunson yet again. Nevertheless in beautiful Puerto Rico enjoying some of the finest marketers, thought leaders, and personal development gurus in the world. My objective is simple, to help you become your own best leader, regardless of whether you’re old or young.”
“If you aren’t doing anything, stop doing nothing. Don’t go chasing every limelight available, do not sit around waiting for somebody else to do something, do it yourself. There are so many ideas out there it’s not possible to take the time to learn them. Find one, learn it, and go out and live it. When I left school, I said that I wanted to be an entrepreneur. Today, that dream has become reality.”
“The difference between failure and success is the amount of work you put in. Most individuals appear to expect that the more they do, the better they’ll be. The problem is that most people never discover the way to do enough to make it effective, and if they try, they will fail.”
“What’s the worst that can happen? You make a mistake, and you pay the purchase price, but it’s nothing compared to what might happen if you succeed. Have you ever noticed that few people who appear to live the life they’re supposed to live always appear to fail in one way or another? That’s because most of them never took the time to learn what they did not know.”
“The only way to get to direction is to accept the fact that you don’t have all the answers, and then begin to find them out. If you are reluctant to change, that’s the indication of someone who doesn’t want to lead.” “The first step to leadership is being able to see where you are not going and fixing that.” “A great leader does not just bark out orders; he also listens to what his people are telling him and uses that information to develop new ideas.”
“A fantastic leader understands that leaders get good results by acting decisively, by showing creativity, and by inspiring confidence. Leaders do not act based on rumors; they rely on solid facts. They plan ahead. They think before they act. They take responsibility.
“A great leader knows that nobody likes a do-it-yourself; everybody wants some help along the way. They recognize that it’s not enough to just know the perfect thing to do; they must be able to take it out.” “The best leaders aren’t afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes are a crucial part of learning, but errors should not stop you before you can get back on your feet.”
“A business has a better chance of success if its products or services are unique, well priced, and broadly available.” “Your clients will trust your judgment and take your advice more seriously when you are careful about their interests and their needs.” “You don’t have to be perfect to be good in business; the more things you are willing to risk, the higher your odds for success.” “To be truly great at what you do, you need to have a passion for it, and it should be an expression of who you are.”
This book discusses various leadership styles. It lists the features of each style, including: modesty, sway, honor, assertiveness, and respect. I strongly recommend this book to anybody who has ever considered becoming a leader, and especially someone that has a background in business or management. This book gives a very clear picture of exactly how critical leadership is, and how to develop leadership skills. Russell Brunson is a leader who achieved enormous success as both an executive and a coach.
He’s written an extremely interesting and thought provoking read that everyone should read. If you’re looking for an excellent introduction to the subject, with solid information and effective leadership approaches, this is it. Highly suggested.
