It seems like Russell Brunson is everywhere these days. He has written articles for many magazines, he’s been on TV numerous times, and has been invited to think tanks and discussion groups to go over his ideas. But have you noticed that he’s been giving out free advice about events and leadership and people and what works? I recently did a search for Russell Brunson quotes and came up with many videos and articles and then compiled them into this little collection of the best.
“A lot has been said recently about leadership. What’s up today, this is Russell Brunson yet again. Still in beautiful Puerto Rico enjoying some of the best marketers, thought leaders, and personal development gurus on the planet. My goal is simple, to help you become your own best leader, regardless of whether you’re young or old.”
“If you aren’t doing anything, stop doing nothing. Do not go chasing every limelight available, do not sit around waiting for someone else to do something, do it yourself. There are a lot of ideas out there it is impossible to take the time to learn them. Find one, learn it, and go out and live it. When I left college, I said that I wanted to be an entrepreneur. Today, that dream has become reality.”
“The difference between failure and success is the amount of work you put in. Most people appear to expect that the longer they do, the better they will be. The problem is that most people never discover how to do enough to make it effective, and if they try, they will fail.”
“What’s the worst that can happen? You make a mistake, and you pay the purchase price, but it’s nothing compared to what could happen if you succeed. Maybe you have noticed that few men and women who appear to live the life that they’re supposed to live always appear to fail in one way or another? That’s because most of them never took the time to learn what they didn’t know.”
“The only way to get to leadership is to accept the fact that you don’t have all of the answers, and then begin to figure them out. If you’re reluctant to change, that is the sign of a person who doesn’t want to lead.” “The first step to leadership is being able to see where you are not going and fixing that.” “A great leader does not just bark out orders; he listens to what his people are telling him and uses that information to develop new ideas.”
“A fantastic leader realizes that leaders get great results by acting decisively, by showing creativity, and by inspiring confidence. Leaders don’t act based on rumors; they rely on solid facts. They plan ahead. They think before they act. They take responsibility.
“A good leader knows that nobody likes a do-it-yourself; everyone wants some help along the way. They recognize that it’s not enough to just know the perfect thing to do; they must be able to take it out.” “The best leaders are not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes are an essential part of learning, but mistakes should not stop you before you can get back on your feet.”
“A company has a better chance of success if its goods or services are exceptional, well priced, and widely available.” “Your customers will trust your judgment and take your advice seriously when you’re careful about their interests and their needs.” “You do not have to be perfect to be great in company; the more things you’re willing to risk, the greater your odds for success.” “To be truly great at what you do, you need to have a passion for it, and it should be a reflection of who you are.”
This book discusses various leadership styles. It lists the characteristics of each style, including: modesty, influence, honor, assertiveness, and esteem. I strongly recommend this book to anybody who has ever considered becoming a leader, and especially someone who has a background in business or management. This book gives a clear picture of exactly how critical leadership is, and how to develop leadership skills. Russell Brunson is a leader who achieved tremendous success as both an executive and a coach.
He has written a very interesting and thought provoking read that everyone should read. If you are looking for an excellent introduction to the subject, with solid information and effective leadership approaches, this is it. Highly suggested.
