It seems like Russell Brunson is everywhere nowadays. He has written articles for many magazines, he has been on TV numerous times, and has been invited into more think tanks and discussion groups to discuss his ideas. But have you noticed that he has been giving out free advice about leadership and events and individuals and what works? I recently did a search for Russell Brunson quotations and came up with many articles and videos and then compiled them into this little list of the best.
“A lot has been said lately about leadership. What’s up now, this is Russell Brunson yet again. Still in beautiful Puerto Rico enjoying some of the best marketers, thought leaders, and personal development gurus on the planet. My goal is simple, to help you become your own best leader, regardless of whether you are old or young.”
“If you aren’t doing anything, stop doing nothing. Don’t go chasing every limelight available, do not sit around waiting for someone else to do something, do it yourself. There are a lot of ideas out there it’s impossible to take the time to learn them. Find one, learn it, and go out and live it. When I left school, I said that I wanted to become an entrepreneur. Today, that dream has become reality.”
“The difference between success and failure is the amount of work you put in. Most people appear to expect that the longer they do, the better they will be. The issue is that most people never find out how to do enough to make it effective, and if they try, they will fail.”
“What’s the worst that can happen? You make a mistake, and you pay the purchase price, but it is nothing compared to what could happen if you succeed. Have you ever noticed that few men and women who seem to live the life that they’re supposed to live always appear to fail in one way or another? That is because most of them never took the time to learn what they didn’t know.”
“The only way to get to leadership is to accept the fact that you don’t have all the answers, and then begin to figure them out. If you’re reluctant to change, that’s the sign of a person who doesn’t want to lead.” “The first step to leadership is having the ability to see where you are not going and fixing that.” “A good leader doesn’t just bark out orders; he listens to what his people are telling him and utilizes that information to come up with new ideas.”
“A fantastic leader realizes that leaders get great results by acting decisively, by demonstrating creativity, and by inspiring confidence. Leaders do not act based on rumors; they rely on solid facts. They plan ahead. They think before they act. They take responsibility.
“A good leader knows that no one likes a do-it-yourself; everyone wants some help along the way. They recognize that it is not enough to just know the right thing to do; they must be able to take it out.” “The best leaders are not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes are a crucial part of learning, but mistakes should not stop you until you can get back on your feet.”
“A company has a better chance of success if its products or services are exceptional, well priced, and widely available.” “Your clients will trust your judgment and take your advice seriously when you’re careful about their interests and their needs.” “You do not have to be perfect to be great in business; the more things you are willing to risk, the higher your odds for success.” “To be truly great at what you do, you will need to have a passion for this, and it should be an expression of who you are.”
This book discusses various leadership styles. It lists the characteristics of each style, including: modesty, influence, honor, assertiveness, and respect. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who has ever considered becoming a leader, and especially someone that has a background in business or management. This book gives a very clear picture of exactly how critical leadership is, and how to develop leadership skills. Russell Brunson is a leader who achieved tremendous success as both an executive and a coach.
He’s written a very interesting and thought provoking read that everyone should read. If you’re looking for an exceptional introduction to the subject, with good info and effective leadership strategies, this is it. Highly suggested.
