It feels like Russell Brunson is everywhere these days. He has written articles for several magazines, he’s been on TV numerous times, and has been invited into more think tanks and discussion groups to discuss his ideas. But have you noticed that he’s been giving away free advice about leadership and events and people and what works? I recently did a search for Russell Brunson quotes and came up with many articles and videos and then compiled them into this small collection of the best.
“A lot has been said lately about direction. What’s up now, this is Russell Brunson yet again. Still in beautiful Puerto Rico enjoying some of the best marketers, thought leaders, and personal development gurus on the planet. My objective is simple, to help you become your own best boss, irrespective of whether you’re young or old.”
“If you aren’t doing anything, stop doing nothing. Do not go chasing every limelight available, don’t sit around waiting for someone else to do something, do it yourself. There are so many ideas out there it is impossible to take the time to learn them. Find one, learn it, and go out and live it. When I left college, I said that I wanted to be an entrepreneur. Today, that dream has become reality.”
“The difference between failure and success is the amount of work you put in. Most individuals seem to expect that the longer they do, the better they’ll be. The problem is that most people never discover how to do enough to make it effective, and if they try, they’ll fail.”
“What’s the worst that can happen? You make a mistake, and you pay the price, but it is nothing compared to what might happen if you succeed. Have you ever noticed that few men and women who appear to live the life that they’re supposed to live always seem to fail in one way or another? That’s because most of them never took the time to learn what they didn’t know.”
“The only way to get to leadership is to accept the fact that you don’t have all of the answers, and then start to figure them out. If you’re reluctant to change, that’s the indication of a person who doesn’t need to lead.” “The first step to leadership is being able to see where you’re not going and fixing that.” “A good leader doesn’t just bark out orders; he also listens to what his people are telling him and utilizes that information to come up with new ideas.”
“A fantastic leader understands that leaders get great results by acting decisively, by showing creativity, and by inspiring confidence. Leaders do not act based on rumors; they rely on solid facts. They plan ahead. They think before they act. They take responsibility.
“A great leader knows that nobody likes a do-it-yourself; everybody wants some help along the way. They recognize that it’s not enough to just know the right thing to do; they have to have the ability to carry it out.” “The best leaders aren’t afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes are an essential part of learning, but errors should not stop you before you can get back on your feet.”
“A business has a better chance of success if its goods or services are unique, well priced, and broadly available.” “Your customers will trust your judgment and take your advice more seriously when you are cautious about their interests and their needs.” “You don’t have to be perfect to be great in business; the more things you’re willing to risk, the higher your odds for success.” “To be truly great at what you do, you need to have a passion for this, and it should be an expression of who you are.”
This book discusses various leadership styles. It lists the characteristics of each style, including: modesty, influence, honor, assertiveness, and respect. I highly recommend this book to anybody who has ever considered becoming a leader, and especially someone that has a background in business or management. This book gives a very clear picture of just how critical leadership is, and how to develop leadership skills. Russell Brunson is a leader who achieved tremendous success as both an executive and a coach.
He’s written an extremely interesting and thought provoking read that everyone should read. If you are looking for an exceptional introduction to the subject, with good information and effective leadership strategies, this is it. Highly suggested.
