It seems like Russell Brunson is everywhere nowadays. He’s written articles for many magazines, he’s been on TV numerous times, and has been invited to think tanks and discussion groups to discuss his ideas. But have you noticed that he has also been giving away free advice about leadership and events and individuals and what works? I recently did a search for Russell Brunson quotes and came up with many videos and articles and then compiled them into this little list of the best.
“A lot has been said lately about direction. What’s up today, this is Russell Brunson yet again. Nevertheless in beautiful Puerto Rico enjoying some of the best marketers, thought leaders, and personal development gurus on the planet. My objective is simple, to help you become your own best leader, irrespective of whether you are old or young.”
“If you aren’t doing anything, stop doing nothing. Do not go chasing every limelight available, do not sit around waiting for somebody else to do something, do it yourself. There are a lot of ideas out there it’s impossible to take the time to learn them. Find one, learn it, and go out and live it. When I left school, I said that I wanted to become an entrepreneur. Today, that dream is now reality.”
“The difference between failure and success is the amount of work you put in. Most people appear to expect that the more they do, the better they will be. The issue is that most people never discover how to do enough to make it successful, and if they try, they’ll fail.”
“What is the worst that can happen? You make a mistake, and you pay the purchase price, but it is nothing compared to what could happen if you succeed. Have you ever noticed that few people who seem to live the life that they’re supposed to live always appear to fail in one way or another? That is because most of them never took the time to learn what they didn’t know.”
“The only way to get to direction is to accept the fact that you don’t have all the answers, and then begin to figure them out. If you’re reluctant to change, that’s the indication of a person who doesn’t need to lead.” “The first step to leadership is being able to see where you are not going and fixing that.” “A great leader does not just bark out orders; he listens to what his people are telling him and uses that information to come up with new ideas.”
“A good leader understands that leaders get great results by acting decisively, by showing creativity, and by inspiring confidence. Leaders do not act based on rumors; they rely on solid facts. They plan ahead. They think before they act. They take responsibility.
“A good leader knows that no one likes a do-it-yourself; everyone wants some help along the way. They recognize that it is not enough to just know the perfect thing to do; they must be able to carry it out.” “The best leaders aren’t afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes are an essential part of learning, but mistakes should not stop you before you can get back on your feet.”
“A business has a better chance of success if its goods or services are unique, well priced, and widely available.” “Your clients will trust your judgment and take your advice more seriously when you’re careful about their interests and their needs.” “You don’t have to be perfect to be good in company; the more things you are willing to risk, the greater your odds for success.” “To be truly great at what you do, you need to have a passion for this, and it should be a reflection of who you are.”
This book discusses various leadership styles. It lists the characteristics of each style, which include: modesty, influence, honor, assertiveness, and respect. I highly recommend this book to anybody who has ever considered becoming a leader, and especially someone who has a background in business or management. This book gives a very clear picture of exactly how critical leadership is, and how to develop leadership skills. Russell Brunson is a leader who achieved enormous success as both an executive and a trainer.
He’s written an extremely interesting and thought provoking read that everyone should read. If you are looking for an excellent introduction to the subject, with solid information and effective leadership approaches, this is it. Highly recommended.
