It seems like Russell Brunson is everywhere nowadays. He’s written articles for several magazines, he’s been on TV numerous times, and has been invited into more think tanks and discussion groups to go over his ideas. But have you noticed that he has also been giving away free advice about leadership and events and individuals and what works? I recently did a search for Russell Brunson quotes and came up with many videos and articles and then compiled them into this little list of the best.
“A lot has been said recently about leadership. What’s up today, this is Russell Brunson yet again. Still in beautiful Puerto Rico enjoying some of the finest marketers, thought leaders, and personal development gurus on the planet. My goal is simple, to help you become your own best leader, regardless of whether you’re young or old.”
“If you are not doing anything, stop doing nothing. Don’t go chasing every limelight available, don’t sit around waiting for somebody else to do something, do it yourself. There are so many ideas out there it’s not possible to take the time to learn them. Find one, learn it, and go out and live it. When I left college, I said I wanted to become an entrepreneur. Today, that dream has become reality.”
“The difference between failure and success is the amount of work you put in. Most individuals seem to expect that the longer they do, the better they will be. The problem is that most people never discover how to do enough to make it successful, and if they try, they’ll fail.”
“What is the worst that can happen? You make a mistake, and you pay the price, but it is nothing compared to what might happen if you succeed. Have you ever noticed that few people who appear to live the life they’re supposed to live always appear to fail in one way or another? That is because most of them never took the time to learn what they didn’t know.”
“The only way to get to leadership is to accept the fact that you don’t have all of the answers, and then start to figure them out. If you are unwilling to change, that’s the indication of someone who doesn’t want to lead.” “The first step to leadership is having the ability to see where you’re not going and fixing that.” “A great leader does not just bark out orders; he listens to what his people are telling him and utilizes that information to come up with new ideas.”
“A good leader realizes that leaders get good results by acting decisively, by demonstrating creativity, and by inspiring confidence. Leaders don’t act based on rumors; they rely on solid facts. They plan ahead. They think before they act. They take responsibility.
“A great leader knows that no one likes a do-it-yourself; everybody wants some help along the way. They recognize that it’s not enough to just know the perfect thing to do; they must be able to carry it out.” “The best leaders aren’t afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes are a crucial part of learning, but mistakes should not stop you before you can get back on your feet.”
“A company has a better probability of success if its products or services are unique, well priced, and widely available.” “Your customers will trust your judgment and take your advice seriously when you are careful about their interests and their needs.” “You do not have to be perfect to be good in company; the more things you’re willing to risk, the higher your odds for success.” “To be truly great at what you do, you will need to have a passion for it, and it should be a reflection of who you are.”
This book discusses various leadership styles. It lists the characteristics of each style, which include: modesty, sway, honor, assertiveness, and respect. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who has ever considered becoming a leader, and especially someone that has a background in business or management. This book gives a very clear picture of just how critical leadership is, and how to develop leadership skills. Russell Brunson is a leader who achieved tremendous success as both an executive and a trainer.
He has written an extremely interesting and thought provoking read that everyone should read. If you are looking for an excellent introduction to the subject, with solid information and effective leadership approaches, this is it. Highly suggested.
