It seems like Russell Brunson is everywhere these days. He’s written articles for many magazines, he has been on TV numerous times, and has been invited to think tanks and discussion groups to go over his ideas. But have you noticed that he’s also been giving away free advice about leadership and events and people and what works? I recently did a search for Russell Brunson quotes and came up with many articles and videos and then compiled them into this little list of the best.
“A lot has been said recently about leadership. What’s up now, this is Russell Brunson yet again. Still in beautiful Puerto Rico enjoying some of the finest marketers, thought leaders, and personal development gurus in the world. My objective is simple, to help you become your own best leader, irrespective of whether you’re young or old.”
“If you are not doing anything, stop doing nothing. Do not go chasing every limelight available, do not sit around waiting for someone else to do something, do it yourself. There are so many ideas out there it’s impossible to take the time to learn them. Find one, learn it, and go out and live it. When I left college, I said I wanted to be an entrepreneur. Today, that dream has become reality.”
“The difference between success and failure is the amount of work you put in. Most people appear to expect that the longer they do, the better they will be. The issue is that most people never discover how to do enough to make it successful, and if they try, they’ll fail.”
“What’s the worst that can happen? You make a mistake, and you pay the purchase price, but it is nothing compared to what could happen if you succeed. Have you ever noticed that few people who seem to live the life they’re supposed to live always seem to fail in one way or another? That is because most of them never took the time to learn what they didn’t know.”
“The only way to get to direction is to accept the fact that you don’t have all of the answers, and then start to figure them out. If you are unwilling to change, that is the sign of someone who doesn’t need to lead.” “The first step to leadership is being able to see where you’re not going and fixing that.” “A great leader does not just bark out orders; he also listens to what his people are telling him and uses that information to come up with new ideas.”
“A fantastic leader understands that leaders get good results by acting decisively, by showing creativity, and by inspiring confidence. Leaders don’t act based on rumors; they rely on solid facts. They plan ahead. They think before they act. They take responsibility.
“A good leader knows that no one likes a do-it-yourself; everybody wants some help along the way. They recognize that it is not enough to just know the perfect thing to do; they have to be able to carry it out.” “The best leaders are not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes are an essential part of learning, but mistakes should not stop you until you can get back on your feet.”
“A business has a better probability of success if its products or services are exceptional, well priced, and broadly available.” “Your clients will trust your judgment and take your advice more seriously when you’re careful about their interests and their needs.” “You do not have to be perfect to be great in company; the more things you’re willing to risk, the greater your odds for success.” “To be truly great at what you do, you need to have a passion for this, and it ought to be an expression of who you are.”
This book discusses various leadership styles. It lists the features of each style, which include: modesty, sway, honor, assertiveness, and respect. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has ever considered becoming a leader, and especially someone who has a background in business or management. This book gives a very clear picture of just how critical leadership is, and how to develop leadership skills. Russell Brunson is a leader who achieved tremendous success as both an executive and a coach.
He’s written a very interesting and thought provoking read that everyone should read. If you are looking for an excellent introduction to the topic, with good information and effective leadership approaches, this is it. Highly suggested.
