It seems like Russell Brunson is everywhere nowadays. He has written articles for several magazines, he’s been on TV numerous times, and has been invited into more think tanks and discussion groups to discuss his ideas. But have you noticed that he’s been giving out free advice about events and leadership and people and what works? I recently did a search for Russell Brunson quotations and came up with many videos and articles and then compiled them into this small collection of the best.
“A lot has been said recently about leadership. What’s up today, this is Russell Brunson yet again. Still in beautiful Puerto Rico enjoying some of the best marketers, thought leaders, and personal development gurus on the planet. My objective is simple, to help you become your own best boss, regardless of whether you’re old or young.”
“If you are not doing anything, stop doing nothing. Don’t go chasing every limelight available, do not sit around waiting for someone else to do something, do it yourself. There are a lot of ideas out there it is not possible to take the time to learn them. Find one, learn it, and go out and live it. When I left college, I said that I wanted to be an entrepreneur. Today, that dream is now reality.”
“The difference between failure and success is the amount of work you put in. Most individuals seem to expect that the longer they do, the better they will be. The issue is that most people never discover how to do enough to make it effective, and if they try, they will fail.”
“What’s the worst that can happen? You make a mistake, and you pay the price, but it is nothing compared to what could happen if you succeed. Have you ever noticed that few people who seem to live the life they’re supposed to live always seem to fail in one way or another? That’s because most of them never took the time to learn what they didn’t know.”
“The only way to get to leadership is to accept the fact that you don’t have all the answers, and then start to figure them out. If you’re unwilling to change, that’s the sign of a person who doesn’t need to lead.” “The first step to leadership is being able to see where you’re not going and fixing that.” “A great leader doesn’t just bark out orders; he listens to what his people are telling him and uses that information to develop new ideas.”
“A fantastic leader realizes that leaders get great results by acting decisively, by showing creativity, and by inspiring confidence. Leaders don’t act based on rumors; they rely on solid facts. They plan ahead. They think before they act. They take responsibility.
“A great leader knows that no one likes a do-it-yourself; everybody wants some assistance along the way. They recognize that it is not enough to just know the perfect thing to do; they have to be able to carry it out.” “The best leaders are not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes are an essential part of learning, but mistakes should not stop you until you can get back on your feet.”
“A business has a better probability of success if its goods or services are unique, well priced, and widely available.” “Your customers will trust your judgment and take your advice more seriously when you’re careful about their interests and their needs.” “You don’t have to be perfect to be great in company; the more things you are willing to risk, the greater your odds for success.” “To be truly great at what you do, you need to have a passion for this, and it should be a reflection of who you are.”
This book discusses various leadership styles. It lists the features of each style, including: modesty, influence, honor, assertiveness, and respect. I highly recommend this book to anybody who has ever considered becoming a leader, and especially someone that has a background in business or management. This book gives a very clear picture of exactly how critical leadership is, and how to develop leadership skills. Russell Brunson is a leader who achieved enormous success as both an executive and a trainer.
He’s written a very interesting and thought provoking read that everyone should read. If you are looking for an excellent introduction to the subject, with solid information and effective leadership approaches, this is it. Highly suggested.
