It seems like Russell Brunson is everywhere these days. He’s written articles for several magazines, he’s been on TV numerous times, and has been invited to think tanks and discussion groups to go over his ideas. But have you noticed that he’s been giving away free advice about events and leadership and individuals and what works? I recently did a search for Russell Brunson quotations and came up with many videos and articles and then compiled them into this little collection of the best.
“A lot has been said lately about leadership. What’s up today, this is Russell Brunson yet again. Still in beautiful Puerto Rico enjoying some of the best marketers, thought leaders, and personal development gurus on the planet. My objective is simple, to help you become your own best leader, regardless of whether you’re old or young.”
“If you are not doing anything, stop doing nothing. Don’t go chasing every limelight available, do not sit around waiting for somebody else to do something, do it yourself. There are a lot of ideas out there it is impossible to take the time to learn them. Find one, learn it, and go out and live it. When I left college, I said that I wanted to be an entrepreneur. Today, that dream has become reality.”
“The difference between success and failure is the amount of work you put in. Most people seem to expect that the longer they do, the better they will be. The issue is that most people never find out how to do enough to make it successful, and if they try, they will fail.”
“What’s the worst that can happen? You make a mistake, and you pay the price, but it is nothing compared to what might happen if you succeed. Have you ever noticed that few people who seem to live the life that they’re supposed to live always seem to fail in one way or another? That is because most of them never took the time to learn what they didn’t know.”
“The only way to get to leadership is to accept the fact that you don’t have all of the answers, and then start to find them out. If you’re reluctant to change, that’s the sign of a person who doesn’t need to lead.” “The first step to leadership is being able to see where you are not going and fixing that.” “A good leader doesn’t just bark out orders; he also listens to what his people are telling him and utilizes that information to come up with new ideas.”
“A fantastic leader understands that leaders get good results by acting decisively, by showing creativity, and by inspiring confidence. Leaders don’t act based on rumors; they rely on solid facts. They plan ahead. They think before they act. They take responsibility.
“A good leader knows that no one likes a do-it-yourself; everyone wants some assistance along the way. They recognize that it is not enough to just know the right thing to do; they have to have the ability to take it out.” “The best leaders aren’t afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes are a crucial part of learning, but mistakes should not stop you before you can get back on your feet.”
“A company has a better probability of success if its products or services are exceptional, well priced, and broadly available.” “Your clients will trust your judgment and take your advice more seriously when you are cautious about their interests and their needs.” “You do not have to be perfect to be good in company; the more things you’re willing to risk, the higher your chances for success.” “To be truly great at what you do, you need to have a passion for it, and it ought to be a reflection of who you are.”
This publication discusses various leadership styles. It lists the features of each style, including: modesty, sway, honor, assertiveness, and esteem. I strongly recommend this book to anybody who has ever considered becoming a leader, and especially someone that has a background in business or management. This book gives a very clear picture of just how critical leadership is, and how to develop leadership skills. Russell Brunson is a leader who achieved tremendous success as both an executive and a coach.
He’s written a very interesting and thought provoking read that everyone should read. If you are looking for an excellent introduction to the topic, with good information and effective leadership strategies, this is it. Highly suggested.
