It seems like Russell Brunson is everywhere nowadays. He has written articles for many magazines, he’s been on TV numerous times, and has been invited into more think tanks and discussion groups to go over his ideas. But have you noticed that he has also been giving out free advice about events and leadership and individuals and what works? I recently did a search for Russell Brunson quotations and came up with many videos and articles and then compiled them into this little list of the best.
“A lot has been said recently about leadership. What’s up today, this is Russell Brunson yet again. Still in beautiful Puerto Rico enjoying some of the finest marketers, thought leaders, and personal development gurus on the planet. My goal is simple, to help you become your own best leader, regardless of whether you are young or old.”
“If you aren’t doing anything, stop doing nothing. Do not go chasing every limelight available, don’t sit around waiting for someone else to do something, do it yourself. There are a lot of ideas out there it’s not possible to take the time to learn them. Find one, learn it, and go out and live it. When I left school, I said that I wanted to be an entrepreneur. Today, that dream is now reality.”
“The difference between success and failure is the amount of work you put in. Most people seem to expect that the more they do, the better they will be. The problem is that most people never find out the way to do enough to make it effective, and if they try, they’ll fail.”
“What’s the worst that can happen? You make a mistake, and you pay the price, but it’s nothing compared to what might happen if you succeed. Have you ever noticed that few men and women who appear to live the life that they’re supposed to live always appear to fail in one way or another? That’s because most of them never took the time to learn what they did not know.”
“The only way to get to direction is to accept the fact that you don’t have all the answers, and then begin to find them out. If you are unwilling to change, that is the sign of someone who doesn’t want to lead.” “The first step to leadership is having the ability to see where you are not going and fixing that.” “A good leader does not just bark out orders; he listens to what his people are telling him and utilizes that information to develop new ideas.”
“A fantastic leader understands that leaders get good results by acting decisively, by showing creativity, and by inspiring confidence. Leaders do not act based on rumors; they rely on solid facts. They plan ahead. They think before they act. They take responsibility.
“A great leader knows that nobody likes a do-it-yourself; everybody wants some help along the way. They recognize that it is not enough to just know the perfect thing to do; they have to have the ability to take it out.” “The best leaders are not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes are a crucial part of learning, but mistakes should not stop you before you can get back on your feet.”
“A company has a better chance of success if its products or services are unique, well priced, and broadly available.” “Your customers will trust your judgment and take your advice more seriously when you are careful about their interests and their needs.” “You don’t have to be perfect to be good in company; the more things you’re willing to risk, the higher your chances for success.” “To be truly great at what you do, you will need to have a passion for it, and it should be an expression of who you are.”
This publication discusses various leadership styles. It lists the features of each style, including: modesty, influence, honor, assertiveness, and esteem. I strongly recommend this book to anybody who has ever considered becoming a leader, and especially someone that has a background in business or management. This book gives a very clear picture of just how critical leadership is, and how to develop leadership skills. Russell Brunson is a leader who achieved enormous success as both an executive and a coach.
He has written a very interesting and thought provoking read that everyone should read. If you’re looking for an exceptional introduction to the topic, with good info and effective leadership strategies, this is it. Highly suggested.
