It feels like Russell Brunson is everywhere nowadays. He’s written articles for many magazines, he has been on TV numerous times, and has been invited into more think tanks and discussion groups to go over his ideas. But have you noticed that he has also been giving away free advice about leadership and events and people and what works? I recently did a search for Russell Brunson quotes and came up with many articles and videos and then compiled them into this little list of the best.
“A lot has been said lately about direction. What’s up now, this is Russell Brunson yet again. Still in beautiful Puerto Rico enjoying some of the finest marketers, thought leaders, and personal development gurus on the planet. My objective is simple, to help you become your own best boss, irrespective of whether you’re young or old.”
“If you aren’t doing anything, stop doing nothing. Don’t go chasing every limelight available, do not sit around waiting for somebody else to do something, do it yourself. There are so many ideas out there it is impossible to take the time to learn them. Find one, learn it, and go out and live it. When I left college, I said I wanted to be an entrepreneur. Today, that dream has become reality.”
“The difference between failure and success is the amount of work you put in. Most individuals seem to expect that the longer they do, the better they will be. The problem is that most people never find out how to do enough to make it effective, and if they try, they’ll fail.”
“What is the worst that can happen? You make a mistake, and you pay the purchase price, but it is nothing compared to what might happen if you succeed. Maybe you have noticed that few people who seem to live the life they’re supposed to live always appear to fail in one way or another? That’s because most of them never took the time to learn what they didn’t know.”
“The only way to get to direction is to accept the fact that you don’t have all the answers, and then start to figure them out. If you’re reluctant to change, that’s the sign of a person who doesn’t want to lead.” “The first step to leadership is having the ability to see where you’re not going and fixing that.” “A great leader doesn’t just bark out orders; he also listens to what his people are telling him and utilizes that information to develop new ideas.”
“A good leader realizes that leaders get great results by acting decisively, by demonstrating creativity, and by inspiring confidence. Leaders don’t act based on rumors; they rely on solid facts. They plan ahead. They think before they act. They take responsibility.
“A great leader knows that no one likes a do-it-yourself; everyone wants some assistance along the way. They recognize that it is not enough to just know the right thing to do; they have to have the ability to carry it out.” “The best leaders are not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes are a crucial part of learning, but errors should not stop you before you can get back on your feet.”
“A company has a better probability of success if its products or services are exceptional, well priced, and widely available.” “Your customers will trust your judgment and take your advice seriously when you’re careful about their interests and their needs.” “You don’t have to be perfect to be good in business; the more things you’re willing to risk, the higher your odds for success.” “To be truly great at what you do, you need to have a passion for it, and it should be an expression of who you are.”
This book discusses various leadership styles. It lists the features of each style, which include: modesty, sway, honor, assertiveness, and esteem. I highly recommend this book to anybody who has ever considered becoming a leader, and especially someone that has a background in business or management. This book gives a very clear picture of exactly how critical leadership is, and how to develop leadership skills. Russell Brunson is a leader who achieved tremendous success as both an executive and a trainer.
He’s written a very interesting and thought provoking read that everyone should read. If you’re looking for an excellent introduction to the topic, with good info and effective leadership strategies, this is it. Highly suggested.
