You Are A Badass By Jen Sincero Uva Library

It feels like Russell Brunson is everywhere nowadays. He’s written articles for several magazines, he’s been on TV numerous times, and has been invited into more think tanks and discussion groups to go over his ideas. But have you noticed that he has also been giving away free advice about leadership and events and individuals and what works? I recently did a search for Russell Brunson quotes and came up with many articles and videos and then compiled them into this little collection of the best.

“A lot has been said recently about leadership. What’s up now, this is Russell Brunson yet again. Still in beautiful Puerto Rico enjoying some of the finest marketers, thought leaders, and personal development gurus in the world. My goal is simple, to help you become your own best boss, regardless of whether you’re old or young.”

“If you aren’t doing anything, stop doing nothing. Do not go chasing every limelight available, do not sit around waiting for somebody else to do something, do it yourself. There are a lot of ideas out there it’s not possible to take the time to learn them. Find one, learn it, and go out and live it. When I left college, I said that I wanted to be an entrepreneur. Today, that dream has become reality.”

“The difference between failure and success is the amount of work you put in. Most people appear to expect that the more they do, the better they will be. The issue is that most people never find out how to do enough to make it successful, and if they try, they will fail.”

“What is the worst that can happen? You make a mistake, and you pay the purchase price, but it is nothing compared to what could happen if you succeed. Have you ever noticed that few men and women who appear to live the life that they’re supposed to live always seem to fail in one way or another? That is because most of them never took the time to learn what they didn’t know.”

“The only way to get to leadership is to accept the fact that you don’t have all the answers, and then begin to find them out. If you are reluctant to change, that’s the indication of someone who doesn’t need to lead.” “The first step to leadership is being able to see where you are not going and fixing that.” “A good leader doesn’t just bark out orders; he also listens to what his people are telling him and utilizes that information to come up with new ideas.”

“A good leader understands that leaders get great results by acting decisively, by showing creativity, and by inspiring confidence. Leaders don’t act based on rumors; they rely on solid facts. They plan ahead. They think before they act. They take responsibility.

“A good leader knows that nobody likes a do-it-yourself; everyone wants some help along the way. They recognize that it is not enough to just know the right thing to do; they have to be able to take it out.” “The best leaders aren’t afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes are a crucial part of learning, but errors should not stop you until you can get back on your feet.”

“A business has a better chance of success if its products or services are exceptional, well priced, and broadly available.” “Your customers will trust your judgment and take your advice more seriously when you’re careful about their interests and their needs.” “You don’t have to be perfect to be great in business; the more things you’re willing to risk, the greater your odds for success.” “To be truly great at what you do, you will need to have a passion for this, and it should be a reflection of who you are.”

This publication discusses various leadership styles. It lists the features of each style, including: modesty, influence, honor, assertiveness, and esteem. I strongly recommend this book to anybody who has ever considered becoming a leader, and especially someone who has a background in business or management. This book gives a very clear picture of just how critical leadership is, and how to develop leadership skills. Russell Brunson is a leader who achieved tremendous success as both an executive and a coach.

He has written an extremely interesting and thought provoking read that everyone should read. If you’re looking for an excellent introduction to the topic, with solid information and effective leadership strategies, this is it. Highly recommended.
